Optimization of machining Nilo 36 superalloy parameters in turning operation

Abstract In this study, the effects of cutting speed, tool geometry, and machining parameters on surface roughness forces in turning Nilo 36 superalloy have been investigated. An experimental design process was made with Taguchi technique. way, optimum values were estimated a small number experiments. The grey correlation analysis method used to determine best parameter levels plausible factors. While most ideal value for cutter traditional geometry achieved experiment 3, indicated by GRA (grey relationship analysis) Rank no. 1, worst result obtained 9, while wiper 2, 6. Results showed that experiments GRA-based give better results forces.
